Laura Dickinson runs at World Juniors Championships

Laura Dickinson, of Miramichi competed today at the IAAF World U20 Championships from Tampere, Finland. Dickinson placed 9th in her section of the 3000m Steeplechase heats in a seasonal best time of 10:24.64 which placed her 25th out of the 40 athletes competing. NB 18+ Outdoor Provincial Championships and Legion Provincial Meet

Moncton played host this past weekend to some of New Brunswick’s best athletes for the annual Legion Trials and NB Outdoor Provincial Championships. Beautiful conditions defined the weekend, with temperatures easily breaking thirty degrees. Day 3 Recap Canadian Championship-3 More Medals for New Brunswick

Conditions were less than ideal for most athletes on day three of the 2018 Canadian Championships in Ottawa- with the humidex hitting as high as 42°. The Canadian Championships kicked off with a bang, and after two days of the competition behind us, New Brunswick athletes Chris Robertson and Jacob Leblanc have already had historical performances for New Brunswick at these Championships. New Brunswick athletes ready for Track and Field National Championships

Ottawa will play host to the Canadian Track and Field Championships set to run from July 3rd through the 8th. This year's Canadian Track and Field Championships will also serve as a selection trial for the 2018 North American, Central American and Caribbean Championships (NACAC Championships) which will take place the second week of August in Toronto. 39th final of the Jeux de l'Acadie

The 39th final of the Jeux de l'Acadie took place this weekend in Miramichi. The athletes sure took advantage of the beautiful weather to set six records. Janelle Allanach of the Southeast captured two gold medals, one in the 200m and the second in the 300m in the 14-15 age group with times of 27.25 seconds and 43.95 seconds.  Athlete of the Month

Athlete of the month (June 2018): Erin Vringer.This past month, Erin Vinger of Saint John Track Club broke three provincial U16 records. Her records include the 1200m, 2000m and the 1500m Steeplechase 5:01.82. She Also set a new Middle School Championships record in the 800m.
