May 31 2011 - Strong Performances by Micheal LeBlanc in Geneva

Michael LeBlanc  (ASEA) continued to impress with his first place finish in his 200 metre race in a time of 21.19 seconds, the 4th fastest time over this distance by a Canadian this year. He also ran the 100 metre in 10.50 seconds finishing 6th in a very fast heat, a time that is just off his 10.35 sec season’s best he set in Ottawa on week ago.

LeBlanc has a busy schedule over the next month with a variety of competitions in Europe and the U.S. and then off to the Canadian championships in Calgary June 22nd. He is also on the ticket to be running in Moncton on the evening of July 8th at a very high performance meet that ASEA will be announcing to the public shortly. “Mike here at home, on our new Mondo track at the Moncton 2010 Stadium and with a strong field besides him, this could be a night to remember for all of New Brunswickers” would add Athletics New Brunswick Technical Director Gabriel LeBlanc.
