Silver Medal for Robertson at Canadian Combined Events Champs

On June 15th and 16th the Canadian Combined Events Championships took place in Toronto, Ontario. This event was hosted as part of the 2019 Athletics Ontario Outdoor Championships. All participants are automatically entered into the National championships as well as their corresponding provincial championships. Jacob Leblanc named to Team Canada!

Athletics Canada has selected Moncton's Jacob Leblanc to represent Canada at the 2019 World Para Athletics U20 Championships set for Nottwil, Switzerland later in July. Jacob currently holds provincial records in the T54 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m and 1500m. More information can be found here: >> more

New-Brunswick Middle School Track and Field Championships

    On Wednesday June 12ththe Moncton Stadium hosted the New-Brunswick Middle School Track and Field Championships. The day was filled with sunshine, smiles and great performances.  Over 30 schools attended and a total of 608 kids participated. Six middle school records were set yesterday. Hub City Classic - Recap

This past Saturday the annual Hub City classic was held in Moncton once again. This is a meet notorious for notable times and this year was no different. With spectacular weather, the athletes were dishing out some top-tier performances. Highlights from the meet include: Jordan Henri (AETOS) running the 100m sprint and finishing the prelims with a speedy time of 10.54 and going on to the finals to win with an incredible time of 10.44. Weekend Recap

This past weekend several competitions took place across the country (and the states) where our NB athletes did everything except disappoint. Some of the highlights include: The NCAA Division I Championships in Texas where Laura Dickinson of Miramichi ran the 10 000m race and finished in an impressive 15th place finish with a time of 34:03.76.  Athlete of the Month

Athlete of the Month (March 2019): Geneviève Lalonde. On March 30th, Geneviève Lalonde represented Team Canada at the IAAF World Cross Country Championships in Aarhus, Denmark. Not only was the the top Canadian from start to finish, Geneviève ran the entire race in the top 25, finishing in 20th place among a strong group of women. This is the best finish by a Canadian woman since 2004 at the IAAF World Cross Country Championships.
