Sep 22 2005 - Everyone is welcome to the Official Opening
Everyone is welcome to the Official Opening Ceremony of the new track in Dieppe on Wednesday September 28 at 5:15pm. The ceremony will start with a walk around the track with municipal officials, a speech from the mayor of Dieppe and end with an invitation to participate in a 100m and/or 1500m runs.

Athletics NB is pleased to announce that Peter Stuart has been appointed Head Coach for the 2009 Jeux du Canada Games Athletics Team. Peter brings to the table over 25 yrs of coaching experience working with young people in the elementary school setting to coaching nationally ranked athletes. Peter has indicated that he already has plans in place to communicate with many of the athletes who were involved in the Athletics Program in the last two years but if you do know of athletes who may be interested including yourself please do not hesitate to contact him at email@example.com

The names of the athletes that will represent New Brunswick in Athletics at the Jeux de la Francophonie are now known. Our team will be composed of Allyson Howatt, Adam Kellar, Marie-Andrée Leblanc, Gabriel Leblanc and Jocelyn Ruest. The team will benefit from the experience of Jocelyn, who has participated in the last Jeux de la Francophonie. Along with athletes in Judo and Boxing, they will compete in Niamey, Niger from December 7 to 17.

Mrs Blanchard Wins Silver in Spain - Her season best time of 4:50:85 was good enough for a second place in the women's 1500m F45 Finals at the XVI World Masters Athletics Championships.
