RunNB Future Series - New road running opportunities for youth
The Futures Series is a new feature of RunNB, starting in 2007. It is a series of road races, similar to the Running Room Super Series (RRSS) and the Timex Series. The Futures Series is intended to encourage participation among younger runners and to encourage runners who may be new to running or who just want to run a shorter distance. The Futures Series run is for distances of 1K up to 3K. It will be open to walkers and runners of all ages. It is similar to events that are often called “Kids runs”. Event organizers must award ribbons for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each gender in the 14 and under, 16 and under and over 16 age categories. For more information check out the details on the RunNB website for event information.
