Jun 17 2011 - Adam Kellar runs stellar 1500m in Indianapolis

Congrats to Adam Kellar who ran a personal best time over 1500m this past Wednesday  with a clocking of  3:45.01. Adam achieved this at the American Milers Series in Indianapolis, IN.

With this time Adam just missed thestandard for the Summer Universidad (FISU) that will be held in China August 12-23by 0.01!   This time is also only 1.5 seconds off Peter Richardson’s New Brunswick record that has been standing since 1974! Adam will be trying to break this record an qualify for FISU at the Canadian Senior Championship next week in Calgary but his ultimate goal is to break the 38 year old record on New Brunswick soil and he will get the chance to do July 8th during the Hub City Track and Field Classic in Moncton. This date by coincidence  will be Adam’s 27th birthday.. We can’t think of a better way to celebrate.
