Sarah MacPherson Retires from Track

Posted on Dec 2 2020

Sarah MacPherson, long-time ANB member, has retired from track and field. MacPherson, an outstanding representative of New Brunswick on the National and International middle-distance scene over the years leaves behind quite the legacy, and we couldn’t be more proud of her accomplishments and wish her the best of luck in her next adventure!
A few words from Sarah:
“I’ve retired from track!!!
It’s taken some time to gather my thoughts and feelings before posting about it. But it’s really quite simple. It felt like the right time to retire for me and after making the decision I couldn’t be happier 😊
Looking back, I feel incredibly blessed to have had all the support I could ever need to pursue my dreams. I’ve been beyond spoiled with the most amazing care by the staff at the westhub national training centre. I couldn’t have achieved anything without @heatherhennigar13, she’s been so supportive and understanding throughout our 5 crazy years together ❤
Been fortunate to also have @athleticsnewbrunswick behind me from start to finish.
Last but not least.. thankful for Chris, family and friends for giving me balance and encouragement when I needed it most. ❤ ❤ ❤
