NB Outdoor Championships Recap

In case you missed it, we hosted a thrilling two days of competition over the weekend in Saint John for the NB Outdoor Championships, as well as the Legion selection trials.

Out of the 7 clubs that competed for the provincial champions banner, it was ASEA who came out on top with 742 points. This monstrous performance was made possible by their athletes winning 48 gold medals, 27 silver medals and 8 bronze medals!

As for the amazing individual performances, they came in the form of provincial and national records! Christel Robichaud from Aetos Athletica bested her own Canadian records in the F56 Javelin and shot put with throws of 12.32m and 6.70m respectively. Samuel Bourque, also from Aetos, improved on his senior provincial record in the discus with a throw of 49.56m
