Officials

As the most important part of any athletic event, ANB needs officials to make sure that competitions can happen. Officiating provides an opportunity to stay involved in track and field, join the officiating community, and gain valuable volunteer experience. Interested in getting involved? This page contains the pathways and resources to begin officiating in New Brunswick. Current officials can also find the criteria and resources and upgrade from their current level.

New Officials

- Those interested in becoming an official are encouraged to fill out this form: Officials Inquiry Form

- After filling out the Officials Inquiry Form, a member of the ANB team will reach out with the appropriate course link and instructions on how to register

- Further information and access to the e-learning modules can be found here. If you are unsure how to progress or which course to take, fill out the Officials Inquiry Form, and an ANB team member will reach out. Existing athletes/coaches should take the Officials 201 e-learning

- All officials must be registered through AthleticsReg where they will be asked to provide a Criminal Record Check and complete the NCCP Safe Sport Module . These must be completed and up to date prior to officiating

- The Background and Vulnerable Sector Check form can be found Here
