General Information

Athletics NB is happy to announce that the Youth Cross-Country Series will be back this fall ! Our goal is to provide more opportunities and initiate the younger generation to take part in running events and promote physical literacy.

The Series will consist of  XC meets across the province, with everyone who competes in one of our series meets to be invited to race at the ANB Crown (Provincial Championships). All upcoming XC meets can be found on our calendar.

Race Organisation

Anyone is capable of hosting a meet and we encourage schools, recreational organizations, clubs and other groups to host a meet themselves to prepare their athletes for the ANB Crown. ANB will provide support in the form of an easy guide to see what are the upcoming events along with invites to the ANB Crown and Social Media promotion.

With that said, if you are planning on hosting a meet please let us know and we will promote it on our website. We are able to provide meet organizers with ticket invites to the ANB Crown.

Potentiel Race Directors

Dear XC community,

We are excited to kick off the XC season this fall and we want you to be involved. We are re-launching our Youth Cross-Country Series in hopes to encourage the younger generation to get active and initiate them to the running community.

With that being said, we will be hosting the 5th Annual ANB Crown (Date TBD). The ANB Crown will play host to the final event of the Youth Cross-Country Series. All kids who will have participated in an ANB Youth XC Series Race will be invited to participate at the 2025 ANB Crown.

Leading up to the Crown, we wish to help you get involved to ensure that the kids get the most of their XC season experience. In that regard, we wish to offer you our support when it comes to organizing a meet in your community. We would be pleased to promote your race on our website and on our social media accounts.
