Beaudoin and Lalonde Recognized in 2026 New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame Class
Athletics New Brunswick is proud to congratulate Marc Beaudoin and Geneviève Lalonde on their induction into the New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2026.
Marc Beaudoin is being recognized for more than 40 years of dedication to the development of track and field, cross country, and running in New Brunswick and beyond. His long-standing commitment to athlete development and coaching leadership has had a lasting impact at the provincial, national, and international levels.
Geneviève Lalonde is one of Canada’s most accomplished middle-distance athletes, highlighted by two Olympic appearances and four Canadian steeplechase titles. She made history as the first Canadian woman to reach a World Championship or Olympic final in the 3000m steeplechase, continuing to inspire athletes across the country.
These inductions recognize not only outstanding competitive achievement, but also the lasting contribution both individuals have made to the sport of athletics in New Brunswick.
