This past weekend, ASEA hosted the NB Provincial Championship in Moncton. We saw some amazing results all throughout both days of competition.

Toppings the list of great achievements is Christel Robichaud, who threw a new Canadian Record in the Woman Para F56 Shot Put. She threw a 6.31m to surpass the previous record of 6.16m set earlier this season by Tiffany Gaudette.

Dean Strowbridge ran an impressive 17:16.48 in the 5000m to secure him the Men’s 50-54 Masters provincial record previously held by Alex Coffin.

Dante Cormier broke once again the Men’s Para T34 100m and 200m records with times of 23.31 and 44.31.

Heather LeBlanc also broke her own provincial record in the woman’s master 60-64 shot put with a put of 8.26m.

Jake Berkshire upheld his competitors in both 200 and 400 to win both provincial titles with some impressive times of 22.57 And 48.53.

Shelby McIsaac was able to capture all 3 provincial titles in the 100m, 200m, 400m to elongate her winning streak to 13 races this season.

Jack Mellish ran an impressive 37.53 to win the boys U16 300m, just short of Jack Berkshire’s provincial record of 37.11 set back in 2013.

ASEA’s Boys U16 relay team won the 4x100 over the 2 older team. Aetos’s Senior Woman’s relay team took the victory over the 2 younger teams.
